A popular tradition during the Mardi Gras season, Loretta’s delicious King Cake is filled with a rich blend of cream cheese and ground AUTHENTIC PRALINES. The ring-shaped cake is drizzled with Loretta’s famous pralines on top icing, then decorated with granulated sugar in the traditional Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold. The cake contains a special surprise, a small plastic baby.
By New Orleans Mardi Gras tradition, whoever receives the slice with the baby inside provides the king cake for the next “king cake party.” This cake is great for gift giving as well as serving at your own king cake party.
